| Description: | In line with the huge success of Kylie's Showgirl tour, the show on 6 May at Earls Court was captured by Blink TV for TV and DVD. Toby Alington was there to digitally record the soundtrack in a Sanctuary mobile recording truck, working closely with Kylie's musical directors Steve Anderson and Andrew Small. Subsequent post-production (mixing at Abbey Road Studios and mastering & dubbing at Richmond Studios) is nearing completion, and the DVD release date is set for later this year. The show was broadcast on Saturday 7 May on Channel 4 in the UK, with Toby's live mix from the night as the soundtrack. This was Richmond Studios second live soundtrack for Kylie in a year, and Toby has also recorded Kylie many times on shows such as the BRIT Awards. We extend our very best wishes to Kylie at this time, and hope that the Showgirl DVD will be a huge success. |
